Established comlink with Del Paraiso. Spotty connection, but it'll work for now. Going to have to get hydroelectric set up soon for stable power supply.

Two survey teams went into the field -- Gittens, Young, Masterson, and Watercress went to survey Peak-1, initial findings indicate high likelihood of precious metal deposits. Looks like we found our first mining operation.

Had a conversation with the guy leading the Temple here, Father Nick. Warm enough, and invited me to a service to see what the church is all about instead of explaining it to me. Guess I'll have to go through the dog and pony show to learn what I'm dealing with... might be worth it, though. They have funds that we don't have access to, and if they're choosing sides, it'd be good to have some pockets to dig into that don't belong to a Corp.
