Looking For a Cure
My companions are still stricken with this awful "Skinny Bones" illness that struck Barsella, and time is running out to find a way to reverse the condition. After seeking Dorn in his tower, we took a passage that - mysteriously - led us to Flotsam Island. Here a community of people were trapped, led there by an eidolon named Harrow. He appears every two weeks with new "residents" and leads them himself ashore...while floating slightly above the ground. (It seems telling, and perhaps important, that his feet never touch the ground here.)
This Harrow - who has not appeared in twelve days - does lend us some clues to the origin of the plague. Apparently, he was tricked into releasing the illness, and the first to be afflicted was the Leviathan which spread it across the Western Ocean! A counter-ritual exists to fight and cure the disease, and clues point us to Harrow's Temple on the island.
On our hike to the temple, we encountered a Gowron, a lesser form of a dragon with a wicked, bladed tale. We were able to defeat it (I supplied the final blow, if I may be so immodest and regretful for enacting such violence), and continue onward. Harrow's temple is pentagonal shaped and in ruins. In the center was a staircase heading upward but crumbling, leading nowhere; beside it was a downward staircase. At the end opposite us was what appeared to be the ruins of a plinth with a tree growing on it. Upon closer examination, we discovered it was the top of a massive tree growing from a cellar below. Everyone climbed down this tree with ease...except I, of course, who - erm - slipped and fell. My companions, graciously, held their tongues.
This cellar contained multiple rooms, and we heard murmuring from a far room that sounded distinctly like incantations. Upon entering this room, we saw a blue, lit creature floating above the ground who instantly teleported away! (Was this Harrow perhaps?) The creature left behind a journal, with parts of it indicating a map to an abandoned temple and the name Deland scrawled beneath; the rest appeared to be alchemical formulae that might be the ingredients for the Skinny Bones cure. From what we can tell, Harrow used his own bone and skin to infect Leviathan, and therefore we need blood from the Leviathan to create a cure (brewed for one full day).
As we attempted to leave the temple, we were attacked by two chupacabras (no wonder the locals thought the temple was protected by "vampires"). It was a tough fight, but my companions and I were able to defeat them in the end. At this point, Riston had a sparrow land on his shoulder explaining he was a familiar of our dear captain of the Spotted Fin - who had tracked us down! Thus we were able to rejoin the ship off the coast of the island and begin our journey to the island of Karn'Lothra to seek this Deland and get closer to a cure for this wasting plague...

08:58 pm - 22.06.2019Our brothel-loving friend Greaves has returned and joined us again on our adventures!
08:32 pm - 22.06.2019Seeking Dorn
Upon our return to the seas off Barsella, we realized that a few of our party on board the Spotted Fin were sick with this plague: Eagungad, Nova, Riston, and Bigby (Riston's familiar). Therefore our need to seek out Dorn is even more dire! Evain takes ...

01:35 am - 13.06.2019Reached Level 4
After our most recent adventure seeking Dorn, our party reached Level 4. As a Battle Scion, Enizu can now finally use spells!
01:32 am - 13.06.2019We appear to be dealing with the feuding factions between three deities: Seggotan (the water god of the Dragon Empire), Nethus (perhaps the human mask of Seggotan, hailing from the Seven Cities), and Hecate (the goddess of change and transformation, also from the Seven Cities). Mixed up in this is the nearly forgotten goddess Mnemosyne, whose followers include our contact Ahriva.

I stumbled out of the Shadow Roads, within which I thought I had only been for a few weeks at the most (for time seems strange and variable there). Imagine my shock when I discovered hundreds of years had passed! Upon staggering out, I found myself los...

Everyone he knew before he entered the Shadow Roads is dead. His only friends are his fellow adventurers: Fydara, Eagungad, and Riston.
Social Aptitude
Enizu is broadly indifferent to nobility, and not impressed by status. In fact, his own personal philosophy that he developed in the unknown time spent in the Shadow Realm is one predicated on being able to navigate social stature and bring parties together.
Authority, though, he resents, particularly based on his own experiences with how the mages ruling the various regions during the Great Mage Wars. A person who simply mandates their authority as the prerogative for others doing what she or he says will sense the wrath and hatred of Enizu.
