The Amber Lake Nature Preserve is a large span of forest, including a large lake and river. It is protected by the Amber Lake Protection Act which makes sure no nations spread into it and try to take the land for themselves. It's also a popular place for camping and hikes!
Geography
The Amber Lake Nature Preserve is a lush forest region with rolling hills, small mountains, expansive lakes, and numerous rivers. Its largest lake, Amber Lake, connects to the bordering ocean south of the preserve via river. Many come to visit this natural paradise for its colorful scenery, varied wildlife, and overall peaceful vibe.
Ecosystem
The forest provides shelter to many creatures, whether they live in the trees, the underbrush, or burrow underground. Because of the Amber Lake Protection Act this ecosystem has been able to thrive with little human interference.
Fauna & Flora
History
The Amber Lake Nature Preserve has thrived on its own for centuries. It came close to being in danger at one point due to the expansion of nearby regions. Thankfully, Amber Lake Protection Act prevented this from happening.
It was also the home of the Bev'ragges who journeyed to Frutuscore way back when. There are still some remnants of their settlements here.
Tourism
Many people travel here for picnics, hikes, and camping. They can enjoy a day out on the lake while taking in the scenic wildlife around them.
