Amber Lake Protection Act

The Lake Protection Act is an act put in place by The Roripop Kingdom to protect the Amber Lake Nature Preserve. Citizens were concerned about the environment, for it is the only large forest untouched by other nations. Based on everyone's feelings on the matter, the Monthly Agenda Council voted to put the act into effect.

The act states that no other nations can develop in the area and anyone that does any harm to the wildlife may be penalized and receive up to twenty years of jail time. The ONLY exception to this is if there's a nationwide crisis or some special case emergency. If such an event occurs, the nation in need takes temporary control of the land and may use it for the harvesting of resources and/ or shelter.

Purpose

The purpose of the act was to turn Amber Lake into a nature preserve in an effort to protect its ecosystem.
