Lin Marsh

Lin Marsh was Kroger and Milka Marsh's oldest daughter. At a young age, she caught The Candy Virus mutation and started turning into a Candy Mutant. Because of this mutation, she was bullied at school for her appearance and special needs. She ran away from home at nine years-old in 73AM and she wasn't seen again. That was, until 78AM when her body was found in an alleyway within The Roripop Kingdom.

The circumstances of her death and the items she had on her person are key pieces of evidencein The Candy Crusade investigation.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Lin was always quite fit. She was an avid tennis player and liked to play outside. When the mutation started to affect her she was forced indoors, for the sun damaged her skin and caused it to melt. She picked up writing for a short time, writing poems of her struggles with the virus and the relentless bullying she endured due to dropping out of clubs and honors classes.

Many sunburns and bandages covered her body after the mutation started to effect her.

Lin often wore glasses and a purple scrunchy that held her hair in a ponytail.

Lin Marsh attended Jelly Belly Elementary, and later on, Jelly Belly Middle. She was always a gifted student, receiving high grades and honors awards. She attended clubs after school, primarily the tennis and writing clubs.

Motivation

Lin was always hard on herself. Kroger and Milka supported her every interest and didn't push her past her limits, but she still did. Lin saw how hard Kroger worked for them and wanted to work just as hard. She wanted her parents to be proud of her and to support them when she grew up. This often led to mental fatigue, and eventually, her running away for feeling like a disappointment.

Despite all of Kroger and Milka's reassurance and loving care, they never found a way to help her through this mindset. And now it's too late.

Lin was active in school clubs and loved to talk with her friends, but she wasn't an extrovert. From the club meets, honors class's extra work, and tennis practice, she got worn out pretty quickly, often coming home tired. Her exhaustion only worsened after the mutation started affecting her, causing her to be more quiet and distant from everyone.

Mannerisms

Lin often fidgeted with her hands. She always had to be rubbing or tapping something, whether it be a pencil or the handle of a tennis racket.

When she wasn't talking to someone or working on something, she often seemed lost in thought.
