The Roost

The Roost is a bakery and orphanage local to The Roripop Kingdom. It is located in the farming district, as it it surrounded by farmland and is completely self sufficient.

Unfortunately, due to the missing children's incident of Reece and Claey, the bakery is closed until further notice.

Purpose / Function

The Roost is an orphanage that is directly funded by the bakery's customers. The caretakers help raise the orphans until they're old enough to live on their own or their adopted by a loving family.

The Roost's key ideals were formed after the caretakers adopted Caven and Burro Bunch. They fell in love with children and being able to help them, so after Burro moved out and Caven ran away they decided to continue helping children in need and turned their residence into an orphanage.

History

The Roost started as just a bakery run by Myrtil Maderia and Stuart Curtis. It had farmland nearby where fresh ingredients were grown. Ferrara Pan later joined the polycule and Curtis decided to build a larger house beside The Roost for them to lice in, rather than just living in the back of the bakery itself. The Roost had been growing in popularity as of late so they needed the storage space anyway.

The addition to the store proved to be a good idea for not too long later Josef Agner joined the polycule as well. The house served them well, especially when Caven and Burro came along.

After they left, the polycule realized they wanted to continue helping kids. Stuart did some more modifications to the house, making it so more people could live there, and transforming it into the orphanage it is today. By using the bakery's popularity, they are hoping to bring attention to the orphanage and find loving homes for their children.
