Myco Empire - The Patch

Myconids are intelligent, mobile fungi humanoids, their empire is situated within the Umbrak. They are generally a passive folk, choosing defense over aggression. Myconids live and work together in colonies and practice a form of communal meditation called a Meld, in which they seek to transcend mundane reality through shared prayer to the goddess Rianda. They are highly spiritual and seek enlightenment through their devotion to her.
The Myco Empire was formed from the union of multiple melds, all dedicated to the goddess of nature and the cycle of change. Those that have pledged their eternal servitude for the greater good of Rianda's cause and the Myco Empire they protect are part of the organiusm known as the Patch. Its purpose is to defend the Meld's multiple planetary borders.
The Patch are able to commune and transform as one organism through their myceliic connection, often absorbing their own organic material to reform anew.
