Silvergrove (ˈsilvərɡrōv)
Set in the Eastern valleys of the central Silverspire Range, Silvergrove is quite a large town for how young it is; Silvergrove went from a small farming outpost to a sizeable lordship in just under a century due to one discovery: A silver mine of unprecedented size. After the discovery, the town grew rapidly, and a nearby forest started being logged for timber to supply this growth. With the rapid outpouring of silver, an equally rapid inflow of coin was to be made, and a lordship was established by the Monarchs soon after the discovery.
It is notably the home of the Silvergrove Smith's Guild, led by accomplished and near legendary black and silversmith, Wayne Deakley. Adventurers are known to stop by the main guild hall during their travels for high end plates, mails, blades, and the like, but nobles across the World will frequently order top-of-the-line silverwork from him personally, including the town's mayor, Gonoroth Fa-Regis, who personally refuses to order from anyone else. Why have less than the best if it comes from your own town, after all?
Despite being mined for nearly a century, the silver shows no signs of ending, and the mine has become one of the largest in the world. Running deep into the mountains, many natural cave formations have been found, but the mine keeps running. Occasionally, they find seams of other ores, but none nearly as common as the strangely endless silver.
Even more strange is how the silver seems to have incorporated itself into the world around Silvergrove. The large Ironwood forest has several Silverbark trees that bear silver nuts, and the animals in the area also have streaks of silver in their coats. This strange property has been named Silverstreak.
