Sporting Event / Competition
In their second festival the Exotics would deal with a conspiracy against Garrac, a deadly potion being distributed to anyone and everyone, hauntings from disgruntled Night Hags, and a night of monsters breaking free of their confines. Despite many, many challenges and problems, The Exotics would claim victory in the final event, after killing a beast created by Aesk the Ever-changing despite Fearghal's desperate pleas to show mercy. In the aftermath, Fearghal threatened the city for its bloodlust, promising to destroy the beloved Colosseum unless all games of death had been stopped by summer's end.
Returning to their second festival, The Exotics once again found themselves embroiled in a conspiracy to harm the city. An alchemist was using the blood of an extremely dangerous monster to create Apotheosis Potions that empowered those that drank them, only to kill them days later. It turned out that the Alchemist in question had a vendetta against Garrac for killing their master, and attempted to ruin his reputation by disguising as him to commit various crimes, though eventually they would be run out of the city after their lair was discovered and favourite minion was killed. Seemingly entirely separate to the alchemist, a group of previously defeated Night Hags began to haunt our heroes, draining their lives from them as they slept. While this made the challenges of the week much harder, with the aid of Alek Vallo this threat was ended quickly. The final interruption came when all the previously captured monsters being stored for the festival were set loose by an unknown party disguised as Coranvin Hun'nai, seemingly intent on causing chaos. Some monsters escaped or had to be put down, but enough were recaptured that the final event could still take place. As night fell on the last day of the festival a monster was let loose that slaughtered all others and threatened the safety of everyone in the Colosseum. The Exotics (and some of their friends and rivals) lept forth to put the beast down, and succeeded despite interference from The Green Lord, winning the festival! As the creature died Fearghal promised to destroy this place of bloodshed and death if it had not changed its ways by the end of Summer that year.
