Pilgrim's Landing
Pilgrim's landing is the largest city in the Makhvi Jungle, perched on the banks of Sun Lake. The area was settled early on by Ankhana who had made their pilgrimage up the Zhad'hinal River, and made the decision not to return to choose a Doma.
The city grew over time, becoming a safe place for other pilgrims to resupply and get their bearings before heading out into the world at large. Many decided simply to stay there, feeling that getting away from the oppressive sun was enough, without having to stray to far from their kin. Others saw the rivers leading east and south from Sun Lake as a highway to a wider world, and went looking for their own grand adventure.
