The history of the Empire
Due to traitorous activities, the home island of Arkantos Exion and his family was open for attack by an Elenorn raiding party. This raid left many of the town citizens killed or captured. One of the many men to die defending against this attack was Geralt Exion. Arkantos Exion, Kara Reed, and Heenet Exion were some of the many to be captured and sent back to Elenorn territory to be slaves.
Arkantos becomes young hero by leading young prisoners to safety by taking control of Norn slave ship and sailing it back to Alliance waters.
Arkantos and his squadmates helped to stop a sneak attack on their training camp, laying the foundation for Ark's duties, later on, and the formation of Wraith Squad. This event would help further Arkantos' status as a hero.
The Battle of Dunwall essentially ended the War for the Sea with the death of the Elenorn leader at the hand of Arkantos.
The people of Dunwall (and soon the rest of the Aisles) saw Arkantos as their divine ruler and proclaimed him their Emperor. This would give Arkantos the basis to construct what would soon to be The Empire of The Aisles.
Emperor Arkantos creates a code of laws, called the Codex Legitas, dictating the powers and rights of the Emperor, Imperial Navy, Politicians, Governors, and Imperial citizens. Arkantos also unvails the Imperial Dicatus which spells out the steps the Empire would be taking to improve the lives of its citizens. The Dicatus included the creation of Imperial post-offices on every Imperial Island, the increase to the size of the Navy, and reformation of the govermental sytems across the Aisles.
This includes the begining of the construction of The Great Wall, Imperial Manor, and Cathedra Primus.

Empress Grace brought many items and gifts to Kroth to show the Elites including books of history and magic, metal working techniques, weapon-armor-and ship designs, as well as many peices of food and art. The Kroth Elite was impressed and unanimously accepted The Empire as partner. This partnership allowed for open travel to and from Kroth for Imperial citizens as well as open travel to and from Imperial waters for many other nations who had been partnered with Kroth.

Fueled by grief and anger, Emperor Dante, supported by nearly every Imperial citizen, began mobalizing the Imperial Navy to start attacking any Oasian ships, civilian or military, or encampments in Imperial waters.
Kudelia Exion (heir to the Imperial throne) and her diplomatic peace fleet were attacked and destroyed by Oasian ships sparking the Daughter's War.

The campaign's secondary objectives were scientific and economic: to study the world's plants, animal life, and to establish trade with the many nations of Ümbria.
