The Autoguard is the 3rd generation of Automatons created by elven inventor Morgan Silversun. The Autoguard after the new line of defense and offense when it comes to the kingdom's military power. Morgan wanted to replace the humanoid knights that have so many limitations to a robotic army that does not need rest, or eating.
