Wood Duck of Hospitality

A life-size carved and colored male wood duck made of dragon bone. Due to its size, the talisman has an enormous amount of power stored within it, which is used to power its aura of hospitality. The duck is currently located in the lobby of the Times Square Hotel in New York City. It ended up there through inheritance to the hotel operators. The duck is secured in a display case that allows visitors to see the wood duck. The glass is reinforced and the duck is on a pressure sensor that is triggered when the duck is lifted. This is connected to the hotel's security system, a very loud alarm, and the New York office of the APU Dragon Bone Division. However, technical security is really only secondary. The case and the duck itself are enchanted with very powerful imovability spells that are triggered as soon as someone tries to touch the duck or cast a spell on it.
