When Remus Remus was only 11 years old his father, along whit many men of the Remus clan. Where slain in a raid by barbarians from the Lion Rocks, a mountainous region to the south. The young Remus took the lose as a warning. Noting was safe, and only the strong could protect that which they loved.

Remus Remus was even taken as a slave by the southerners. But his uncle Remus Drakus, lead a small band of warriors to free the boy. As well as Remus Remus mother and a handful other members of the clan. Remus Drakus did this by slipping into the barbarians camp as most of them slept and cut the throats of most of the raiders guards.
