Ambria

Ambria is recently re-discovered planet. That would be a small coup, except that it is a desert wasteland, an entire planet seemingly devoid of life.

In the northern hemisphere of the wastes is the only piece of construction known to exist on the entire planet - An Obelisk made of an unknown black material and soaring hundreds of feet into the sky.

Geography

There is very little to the planet, it is a rocky and desolate land. Once, there might have been oceans in lower areas, and the Tiernvael Mountains might have been covered in green trees, and the Ambrian Wastes covered in tall plumes of strange grasses. But that time, if it ever existed, is long passed. The only surface water is Lake Natth and its dark waters seem fed from underground streams.

Ecosystem Cycles

Ambria doesn't seem to have a seasonal climate, though the Waste does seem to have a cycle of sandstorms as it rotates through its yearly cycle.

Localized Phenomena

Ambria is a strange place. It seems to radiate a darkness within it beyond a mere absence of light.

Climate

The climate is hot and dry year-round, with no meaningful moisture cycle having been observed. Of course, no one has ever stayed long enough on Ambria to complete any observations...

Fauna & Flora

In truth, only two species remain on this planet, both reptilian and unique to this world: the diminutive Neek and the nearly mythical Hssiss. Both survive in small groups in or around Lake Natth, on what little grows in those dark waters and on its rocky shores.

Natural Resources

Strangely, there are no natural resources on Ambria. Even the stone of the mountains is just compressed silicate identical to that of the Ambrian Wastes.
