Judy Haas

Judy is a human social worker originating from the Hellraiser version of Earth. Following the Hellraiser campaign, she was recruited as a party member by Alfonso.   Name: Judy Amelia Haas   Sex: Female   Race: Human   Nationality: British Citizen   Occupation: Childcare Protection Agent   Birth date: 17th April 1978   Birthplace: Stratford-upon-Avon, England, United Kingdom   Current age: 41 years old   Parents: Rupert Haas, Doris Clayton   Spouse: None (Divorced)   Issue: Marcie Evans   Religion: Atheist   Bio: Born in the English town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the first forty or so years of Judy's life were largely unremarkable. Originally graduating with a bachelor's degree in natural sciences, she later took a doctorate in educational psychology and then specialised in interviewing child witnesses, which she balanced with fostering jointly with her husband Stephen. Originally having met at university, the couple married and had one daughter, Marcie, in their mid-twenties. A decade and a half later, the flame of their relationship had subsided long before Judy caught Stephen in bed with another woman, but that was the final straw. After their divorce, Judy reverted to her birth name of Haas and hoped to focus on her career now that Marcie was nearly an adult. A sudden collapse and subsequent diagnosis with a heart condition put an end to that idea, along with her hope of fostering again.   Game history: It was on a drizzly Saturday evening that Judy received a call from a local London police station, requesting her help. A non-verbal boy of about four had been found wandering barefoot at Waterloo station, with no caregiver in sight and they urgently needed someone to interview him and find out who he was. Thus, Judy met Alfonso.   Though she had stopped fostering since her heart condition had become apparent, Judy agreed to take Alfonso home on a temporary basis until a longer term placement could be found. It was only the next day that it became clear that Alfonso was no ordinary child -- the ability to understand any language, to make objects appear and disappear at will and to show her photorealistic images from his childish scribbles, among others, convinced Judy that there was something very strange about this boy. A call from a coworker confirmed that he was only genetically half-human and that the authorities wanted to know more. Unwilling to surrender her young charge to an unknown fate, Judy instead decided to escape, taking Marcie with her. Unfortunately, she didn't account for the cellphone in her pocket giving away her location and so their getaway ended little more than an hour after it had began, in the back rooms of a service station. In a cruel twist of a fate, her daughter had been separated from them a few minutes before and so was not brought along to the next world. Finding herself in the world of Terraria alongside Alfonso, Judy quickly found her logical, scientific view of the world pushed to its limits. Encountering among other things, a half-demon and giant man-eating beetles, she continued to care for her young charge in the face of adversity until eventually coming face-to-face with Alfonso's father's -- the mercenary known as Darius Steward. At first, Judy didn't think much of Darius, considering him to be coarse, violent and a complete contrast to his sweet, gentle son. It was only later when she saw him caring for Alfonso that she realised she might have misjudged his character.   Mad Max was an eye-opening experience for someone innured to the comforts of 21st century Britain. Judy did her part to help free the slaves of the Viper encampment, but was hindered by the heart attack she suffered on the penultimate day of the campaign. She took a quieter role in Kraftworld, recovering somewhat by the time the time the party reached Zombieland. There, she was shocked to discover that Darius and Alfonso had survived for seven months in what was for her the blink of an eye. She and Darius had a somewhat rocky moment over a misunderstanding, but by the eve of Alfonso's fifth birthday, they had made up in style on a hospital rooftop. Before they had a chance to embark on their new relationship together, though, Nexus separated the couple, trapping Judy on Xanthe 3 while Darius was sent to adventure on Homestuck. With no other options, Judy rolled up her sleeves, deciding to try and improve life in the growing settlement as best she could.
