Edgar Allen
A Techno-Wizard with a flair for making his inventions look like normal everyday items.
Mental characteristics
Employment
He works for Nancy Boyd. Providing arcane services and enchanting items for her. While he has a friendly relationship with Nancy, he does not know he works for her. He thinks he works for Vincent Millay, the Saint of the Burbs.
When he needs materials, resources or items, he will change shape into a crow and go with a partner called Robert Frost who does the personal interactions, purchasing and carrying. This way, any Monks of St. Jerry or Dog Boys who pick up his scent will be taken off Frost's trail when he flies away; and anyone who follows Frost will not find him.
Accomplishments & Achievements
One of his regular tasks is to imbue some cigars made by Harvey the Roller with 'special' effects. In order to do this, he must put the ingredients in the cigars as they are rolled. This is why he and Frost can often be found at Harvey's place.
Other gadgets made by him include wall-sconces with everburning flames that reveal any magic in use and the doors to the reading rooms in The Upstart Lounge that will only open when read aloud; among others.
Social
Mannerisms
When in public, he travels almost exclusively shape-changed as a crow named "Poe" on the shoulders of The Crow Man, Robert Frost. As a crow he can speak, but squawks like a crow in public, communicating with Frost in code.
Otherwise he almost never leaves his workshop.
Hobbies & Pets
Edgar Allen keeps several crows as pets.
Since living as a magic user in the heart of the Coalition States is a risky enterprise, he relies on extreme measures to maintain his anonymity. Before he leaves his workshop to take care of business, he releases two of his pet crows that are trained to fly to the two Crow Man impersonators while he himself will fly to the one who will assume the role of Robert Frost for the day. Different crows have been trained to fly to different drop locations where their human partners will pick them up and carry them around for a few hours.
