Nexus-Touched

Your Body has been significantly altered through frequent and/or particularly strong exposure to High Magic Zones, infusing Magic into your very being. Not only are Nexus-Touched naturally gifted in the use of Magic, but they can feel Magic being used in their vicinity, though the way they describe those feelings varies widely. Some say they get a weird taste on their tongue, others feel tickling sensations over their body, begin to sweat, get goosebumps, feel itchy or suddenly need to pee.
When creating a Nexus-Touched character, consider why they were influenced so much by High Magic Zones. Did they unknowingly live near one? If so, how did they find out? Did a new Leyline appear near you, if so what were the consequences? Were you born within a Nexus, if so was it by chance or on purpose? High Magic Zones often create very chaotic environments not particularly conducive to permanent inhabitants, how did you, or your wardens, handle such environments?   Ability Scores: +1 to one of INT, WIS or CHA.
Feat: The Magic Initiate Origin Feat (Cleric, Druid or Wizard).
Skill Proficiencies: Choose any 2 skills based on INT, WIS or CHA.

Equipment: 25 SP, which you can use to buy things for the prices listed in Economy & Prices.   Feature: Magic Sense
You can sense when Magic is being used in your vicinity. While this sense isn’t very precise, you can roughly differentiate by distance, power and school of Magic through the intensity of the feeling. A 1st level spell cast farther away than 30 ft might not register at all, but 5th level spells or similar effects could possibly be sensed over 100 ft away, and 9th level spells, though you likely have never experienced them, could be sensed as far away as the other end of town. The feeling becomes more intense with proximity and power, which includes your own spellcasting.
How detailed and easily differentiable these feelings are is completely up to you: You could simply say that all Magic causes your hair to stand up straight, or that every school of Magic feels different (Necromancy is itchy, Evocation is spicy etc).
Choose at least one school of Magic to be hypersensitive to. The distance at which you can sense that type of Magic is doubled, but the feeling you get from it must at minimum be moderately unpleasant.
Finally, as your feelings are tightly interwoven with some form of magical essence, Dead Magic Zones have a strange effect on your body. While within a Dead Magic Zone, you lose your sense of smell, taste and touch.
