The Blackreach

The Blackreach is a mountain range in the west of Tirel, separating it from its neighbor, The Morya Sultanate. The Shade (see: Tirel) is still strong in this place, serving as a barrier for all that might try to cross through and attack the home of the faithful, a happy side effect of the age-old blight. It is said that no man has crossed them successfully in the past 100 years, an overstatement of course, though it illustrates the truth quite efficiently: this is no place for the living.
Ruins of an age-old civilization, older even than the age of legends, dot the desolate landscape, beckoning foolish adventurers and treasure hunters to an early grave.
