The Boreas Highlands

The Boreas Highlands are a small mountain range in the northwest of Upper Zagesi, covered in and surrounded by mixed forests, particularly at lower elevation points. Its frozen peaks and glacial melt feed many of the rivers that flow into The Gilded Sea and The Shattered Sea. The mountain range has its name from a legendary creature that supposedly lives in the region known as Boreas, the freezing terror.
