The Fields of Aimatochys

Known as The Blight, The Dead Plains, The Killing Fields and The Fields of one-hundred thousand Deaths, The Fields of Aimatochys are a stretch of land southeast of Keopsys (see: The Conflux Tripact). Originally a result of the war of independence between Keopsys and Adrastealos almost 500 years ago, the so far nigh unmatched bloodshed which that conflict wrought has permanently twisted these once lush and fertile plains. Nothing grows here, safe for a few shrubs and lone gnarly trees, the living dead are said to wander the plains in search of vengeance and retribution for their senseless deaths, and the land itself is said to drain the living.
