The Gulf of Kyne

The Gulf of Kyne is a gulf located in the north of The Emerald Sea, formed and mostly enclosed by The Kynes, a small group of mountains to its east.
The Gulf is riddled with countless underwater caverns and cave systems filled with vast emerald and gold deposits. While usually inaccessible, during the extreme tides of the harsher seasons these caverns become exposed for just a few hours at a time, beckoning countless thrillseekers and treasure hunters to try their luck. The lucky ones are rewarded for their bold advance into the depths, while the less fortunate are often swept away and drowned by the approaching tides, never to be seen again.
