The Kashtu Highlands
The Kashtu Highlands are a mountain-range in the south of The Conflux Sea, and serves as a divider between it, The Gulf of Ashaya and the southernmost regions of Kashura. The lengthy Kashtu Mountains curve around and hug the coastline, providing a barrier that captures most rain which would otherwise travel deeper into southern Kashura. The Kashtu Highlands are therefore one of the main reasons for the existence of The Thaamiri Desert and The Kashtu Woodlands to its north-east.
