The Nezendi River

The Nezendi River is a massive river which originates from the southern end of The Gilded Sea, meanders through the entirety of Lower Zagesi and finally flows into The Conflux Sea. It is the lifeline of Lower Zagesi, providing both the fertile soil for its agricultural abundance and transportation, which carries wares and people both north and south into far-off lands.
Its regular but erratic and unpredictable floods are both the cause of the region's prosperity and many challenges for the people settled along its coasts, as taming the river is not an easy task. Its erratic nature has been the cause of many nicknames, but the one most commonly used by the people of Lower Zagesi is “The Evershifting Road”.
