The Thairdal

The Thairdal are a small group of Volcanic Mountains in the south-west of Griselderyn, close to the shores of The Shattered Sea. Eruptions are a common, almost yearly occurrence here, though they only tend to affect the area in The Thairdals immediate vicinity. Still, many people come here despite the dangers for one simple reason: resources.
The mountains and volcanoes of The Thairdal are rich in both precious metals and gemstones, particularly gold, diamond, jade and obsidian.
