The Torikami Forest

Located in the far north of the Soukoku Region and separating the northernmost territories of The Yuyan Dominion from the rest of said nation, The Torikami Forest is a dense woodland which once marked the heartlands of The Oyagi Clan (see: The Yuyan Dominion). These woods are said to be a place where the barriers between worlds are weak, where the spirits of the dead wander. The terrain here is also quite treacherous, and it is easy to get lost, almost as if nature itself is conspiring against any attempts to properly explore it.
The Evanescent Yokuna, one of The Idanasha, is also said to call this forest its home.
