Session 4.4 Report - The Party Splits...

General Summary

After repelling the Sahuagin's nighttime raid on Saltmarsh, the party retires to The Snapping Line for a hard won brunch. There the the Forever Pumpkin Platoon are joined by Gellan Primawater and Anders Solmor and plan how to best deal with the Sahuagin menace.
After a series of revelations, suggestions, counter-suggestions, the group comes to a consensus - they will split up in order to better achieve their goals. Pavel and Seneschal volunteer to take a letter from Wayde to send off to a knowledgeable Vardeyale professor via the branch campus in Port Verlin, as well as searching for two retired military leaders: Djeurj Payton and Dirwin Hommel. The remaining party members - Cpt. Julio Bengala, Wayde Les Stoodius, and Thorongil - will head inland in search of Gnomenado, the settlement where Thorongil was trained. There they hope to find remnants of a Shimarchuan artifact that might be an invaluable tool in the fight against the Sahuagin.
After resolving to stay in contact via a set of sending stones, our intrepid heroes split up and set off to accomplish their respective missions...
