Investigating the Lizardfolk

The party is tasked with finding out what the Lizardfolk want to do with the weapons cache found on the Sea Ghost.


The party is tasked with investigating why Coastal Lizardfolk are purchasing weapons from The Scarlet Brotherhood. They decide to take their newly acquired ship, The Sea Ghost, and sail to the Lizardfolk Lair.   They anchor offshore and observe the lair but decide not to enter until the next day. When they do, they decide to enter by land and end up fighting several giant lizards. After a while the LIzardfolk guard come to see the commotion and the party pretends to be part of The Scarlet Brotherhood with the weapons.   Eventually, the party meets Sauriv who wishes to bring them further into the lair where they meet Queen Othokent. Othokent is training the lizardfolk with another set of weapons. The party offers lessons on how to use specific weapons.   Othokent has seen through their lies but sees the party as a valuable asset. She shows them why she has been purchasing weapons. They have a captured Sahuagin. Othokent reveals the Sahuagin have been attacking and displacing many of the coastal groups. Many of the survivors are now seeking refuge at the lizardfolk lair. The refugees include Locathah, Koalinth, and Merfolk, along with a myriad of sealife that serve as steeds.   The party then looks at gaining allies. They look to the Sea Elves and the town of Saltmarsh and promise Othokent they can arrange a meeting between all three parties.   On their way out they also agree to exterminate the beast known as Thousand Tooth, a giant crocodile that was eating Lizardfolk patrols to the north. After defeating the beast, they decide to set sail to the sea elf capitol of Coryselmal.
