The goblin king Raggum unnaware of the newly formed civilian army in Berghest attempts to invade the town with a small army of 300 goblins. The skirmish that ensued resulted in the loss of many on both sides. The goblin defense army down to roughly 200 members managed to drive back the goblin invasion.

Raggum had made plans to invade Berghest with a small army of 300 goblins. Luckily for Berghest, a new fleet of settlers came to the continent with many willing to join the defense team. The citizens armed themselves and formed a military of 500 soldiers to defend the town. Soon after Raggums army arrived at Berghest's gate unaware of the army inside the walls. A skirmish between the two armies resulted in the loss of roughly 300 Katatanians and nearly the entire goblin army. The goblin army retreated in defeat promising a return with a larger army.
