Appointment

When the Queen wishes to step down and retire, they and the Hosts vote on who to promote. This is usually between the Hosts since they already have experience with leadership and interacting with what the Queen does and have a large degree of respect amongst guild members. However, occasionally, other members will be put forward for the vote by a host themselves or a group of other members within the organisation.

Duties

The Queen organises and co-ordinates the sub-divisions of the guild. They make sure they work in tandem and not in competition. They also oversee the planning of Swarms and Infestations (planned jobs that require multiple disciplines to be involved). They ensure the spoils of these are divvied out fairly. They are also in charge of settling any disputes between sub-divisions.
