This dwarven hall lies under the tallest peak in the highlands beneath a great graveyard where the collected dead of a thousand battles lies. There is a career in Vol’ Nirkim for those that seek it, uncovering old battlefields, collecting the bones of the fallen and returning them to Grimsgil, this is paid for by The Arcane University of Necromancy located alongside the Great Temple of Hess at the centre of the graveyard above Grimsgil from where the Gothi Lich reins.
Undead work in the Hall carrying messages and palanquins, serving food, acting as butlers and all the residents are perfectly at home with their undead servants, wondering how others live without such great helpers. Grimsgil is otherwise a typical Dwarven Hall, its central location in The Barrier Ranges has made it the largest Hall among the Lunar worshipping Hill Dwarf nations.
