Vol' Nirkim

Necromancy is not strictly illegal in most countries, it is certainly frowned on, but not in Vol’ Nirkim. The people of this realm are comfortable with the undead, indeed their Gothi is a Dwarfkin Lich. Other types of free-thinking undead live in the open such as vampires and wights. Meanwhile, mindless undead are commonly used as servants, labourers and soldiers. Generally, these undead servants have been heavily embalmed with perfumes to prevent unwanted smells. Due to this free labour, the people of Vol’ Nirkim live lives largely free of heavy labour and gladly give their bodies after death to help maintain this way of life.   Vol’ Nirkim has long been at war with Bal’ Moldur, their patron Pottre, loathes the undead and so peace will never be possible. The citizens of Vol’ Nirkim think the people of Bal’ Moldur are intolerant racists unable to accept a foreign culture, but most common people in the world agree that undead have no place among the living.
