Orshten, The Dead Realm

The first world created by the Gods was Orshten, but it was destroyed by the gods, especially the God Razor, long before the creation of Achnelia. When Orshten was destroyed it also became frozen, suspended in a kind of eternity, whilst time does pass, nothing ever really changes the Realm is preserved in the moment of its destruction.
The Realm is ruled by Razor and Hess, it is a broken lifeless world covered in ruins and shadows. The realm is perpetually destroyed and dead, most people who lived in the Realm continue only to have shadows and spirits of their former selves, those who died during the Godswar, before the final destruction of Orshten have been reanimated as the undead by the God Hess.
Those few who escaped death by hiding deep below the ground were transformed and have become Shadow Elves, some have fled to Achnelia as refugees from Orshten.
