Exol, Divine of the Moon
Patron of the stars and the oceanic tide, Exol graces the planes with their moon, Eden. Travelers who venture in the moonlight are said to be graced with Exol's protection as Eden shines above them. The light of Eden alone is said to keep the creatures that lurk in the shadows at bay, and as such, is a frequent target of prayers by the hunters and travelers that walk in its glow.
Exol's cause, however, does not extend only to protective forces, as truly, Exol celebrates the beauty and wonder of nature; not so much to the extent of Raf'norn where such art is to be on display, but more just how the world evolves and grows on its own, where the only thing truly permanent is nature. While they will light the way for travelers to find their path, they will also lead those same travelers to return to the grove. It is even said that the Curse of Lycanthrope, thought to be a blessing by their followers, originated from Exol's desire to return civilization to their more beastial routes -- the pain involved in the process meant to be a reflection of the pain Exol felt when they first saw mankind shun their naturalistic routes and embrace technology.
Most of Exol's followers are druidic in nature, though that does not necessary exclude those who may live in the most bustling of cities. With all things, followers may have different beliefs all within the same sphere, with some praising the moon and the guiding light it has while still having reservations about lycanthrope, while others may more zealously believe in a return to nature in all of its forms. The primary thing that is common to all followers is the reverence for the moon and the appreciation of the beauty of nature. It is said that their anger however, is just as likely to doom their followers as it is to bless them, and Exol's control of the ocean has forced more than a few ships to suffer a watery grave.
Exol is prayed to for multiple things past their moon and the calmness of the tide, and is claimed to be responsible for many different cycles that encapsulate life. Couples who are expecting will pray that Exol will grant them fortune during their reproductive cycle, just as farmers will pray to Exol for a bountiful harvest. It is even said that when one is moody, "cycling" through many emotions, that "Exol's grace must be upon you right now" as both an acknowledgement of the God's predilections and a subtle jab at the accused.
Eden's journey through the sky is steady and ever changing, and to that end, diviners and dreamers look to the ever-present cycle in the celestial body to solve their questions and qualms, utilizing their divination to derive answer from the stars themselves.
Divine Domains
Exol's domains, as the embodiment of Eden, are Moon, Travel, and Ocean. As one of Aden's major moons, and the only one looked to generally in a favorable light, most of the time when one prays for the safety of the moon, they are referring to Eden, and expecting its lights to guide them on their travels. Likewise, sailors and coastal fishermen will also send their prayers to Exol in hopes of fortune with their crafts. Pirates tend to have a shakier relationship with Exol, more often than not splitting their prayers between them and Dizzorn -- Wishing for safe journey across the seas, but the discretion to continue plying their trades.
Exol has minor influence and interest in the domains of Temperance, Dreams, and Hunting, all three being realms that have coinciding correlation to Exol even if they aren't completely under their umbrella.
Exolian Clerics are primarily Light, Twilight, Moon and Nature.

"The Howl of the Moon" - A ritualistic process and detailed guide towards achieving lycanthropy and blessing others with Exol's grace.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Exol's holy symbol is a crescent moon nestled between a howling lycanthrope and a depiction of Exol's silhouette, never blank of emotion. Simpler symbols such as those that just depict a crescent moon or a howling lycanthrope can be used in its stead, but major factions following Exol's will tend to use the full symbol.
Tenets of Faith
- Nature is to be respected, it is where we have all originated from.
- Eden is your guiding light, with it, the stars reveal their secrets to you.
- A return to nature is to be celebrated, lycanthropy being the purest form of such.
- Flow with the tides, nature will always provide the correct course.
Holidays
The Eden Eclipse - On occasion, Eden makes its way in front of the sun, blocking its guiding rays from reaching the plane below. Such an event is said to coincide with when Exol is at their most volatile, their eyes "open, standing in the way of the sun" and punishing civilized races for their reckless embrace of technology with crashing tidal waves upon shorelines and cascading shadows strewn about what would be normally sunny fields. Everything is subject to chaos as Exol exerts their will and anger, and their lycanthropes are called upon to transform and make civilization pay for their transgressions.
When Eclipses are predicted by astronomers, most towns and cities will enter a lockdown until the Eclipse passes over, as there are few worse events that can harm and destabilize civilization, with only the Draconis Eclipse being more apocalyptic.
It is from this event that the fear and loathing of Lycanthropes began, and it is only further reinforced by every new eclipse.
