Gayle
Esoteric Dove
Believed to be his daughter, Gayle is a kinder and more sensible reflection of Corvus. Where it can be said that the Lord of Crows is a secretive god, Gayle is just the same, but much more so. Very little is known of the girl; merely a handful of stories pertain to even her existence. Even amongst followers of the Obsidian Throne, only a fraction of their stories mentions her.
Just as her father does, Gayle resides within the Black Labyrinth. And while, on occasion, Corvus will make appearances or speak to those beyond its walls, Gayle makes no such efforts. As such, few accounts of her appearance exist, but they all take note of the white feathers she wears as decoration, giving her the title of the 'Esoteric Dove.'
Unlike her father, however, Gayle is said to be a kind and caring figure, a beacon of light in the Obsidian Spire's darkness. Some stories will speak to this in various fashions. Some credit her for their escape, showing up in situations of terrible peril and saving them, exclaiming that without her guidance, leaving its walls would've been impossible. Others claim that by following signs of the Dove they found sanctuary. Whatever the tale may be, proving them has always been a pointless endeavor.
Divine Domains
Mercy and Hopefulness. Followers of Gayle, or believers, attribute her to these two concepts. Not nearly enough is known or widely accepted regarding her role as a deity. However, those who believe in her, or claim to have been saved by her, look to these principles.
While all but unheard of, Clerics of Life, Twilight, and Order may follow Gayle and the Obsidian Throne.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Among a small faction within the followers of the Obsidian Throne exist those who follow Gayle's example. Painted in a similarly crude style to Corvus', a hollow white circle is formed with a dove placed in its center. Such a symbol is scarcely found, but seeing it in person may lead one to this faction of believers.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Gayle is commonly described as an average-height female elf. One with long ebony black hair, pale blue eyes, and perfect, fair skin. By all accounts, she was deemed gorgeous. Though helmetless, she wore heavy armor with a white cloak clasped to her breastplate by soft blue gems, along which snow-white feathers protruded on one side.
