Skysplit Summit
The tallest mountain range known to man. It's over seven miles tall at its highest point, splitting the clouds in half. Two thirds of the mountain is bare stone and rocks, but the top third is covered in snow. Near the peak the snow can be over six feet deep. This makes travelling to the top of the mountain extremely difficult. Some say that there is a path up there, but it's not marked on any maps.
There are multiple monasteries near this area. Some are even built on the cliffside. Most of these monasteries are built to worship Uldir, the god of creation, stone and mountains. Monks from all across the realm travel here to train.
Inside the mountain one can find multiple natural and manmade caves where forges run day and night. These smithies are fueled by a strange power that emanates from the mountain itself. Forges don't go out an the fire is immensely hot; iron melts in seconds and gold turns to liquid at the touch. These foundries are one of the rare places where adamantine can be heated to temperatures where it can be used in smithing. Another location for this is Mur Kuldor.
The most famous forge here is The Ironclad Foundry. This is where Reiflig Stormhorn forged the legendary Greatsword of Uldir for The Emperor.
One can find the ruins of Uldir's Keep at the western side of the mountain range.
