Scales of Stone is a ritual known to the Bracaran kobold tribes, particularly the Stone Cradle Tribe.
Fate Mechanics
Scales of Stone. Damira may spend the corresponding ritual boost to harden her scales, reducing damage from a physical hit by 2 shifts. Ritual boosts are created by Creating an Advantage with Evoke, DC 2.
Effect
The scales of the targeted dragon harden and grey, becoming as tough as stone for the duration of the ritual. This does not impede the dragon's movement. As with most kobold rituals, the intended target is identified by a certain engraved crest on their scales.

The spell can be powered either by one or more tribes of kobolds, or by the dragon themselves.
