Eastpass

The smaller, eastern twin to Westpass, Eastpass is a primarily Gnomish settlement, constructed by gnomes and plainly for gnomes as none of the buildings fit any larger creatures. The air in Eastpass is redolent with latent magic, enchantments layered atop enchantments to make up for the lack of physical labor as the Gnomish artificers use strange heat drills to melt the bedrock to slag in their efforts to widen the access tunnel further.
