Lord Arlendir Sylthienlor (born of strength and honour) was the elder brother of Princess Calidara Sylthienlor Heyuyi of Evening Star.
Approach to Rule
Lord Arlendir was aware of the bloody way his father and predecessor had gained the Lordship of Gita Momufo. Lord Arlendir had a kind and peaceful nature who would prefer conversation to conflict. He would be the primary architect of the city layout of Gita Momufo. Lord Arlendir would also build the Sylthienlor Docks and use the Sylthienlor Forest as a valuable source of lumber.Circumstances of Death
On that same ill-fated day, Lord Arlendir Sylthienlor, immersed in the affairs of the Merchant District of Evening Star, received a summons by a royal guard. Unbeknownst to him, it was but a ruse, cloaking dark intentions. Accompanied by two guards, Arlendir set out for the Heyuyi District, only to be set upon by those sworn to protect him. With swift precision, Arlendir’s blade sang through the air, cutting down the first assailant. The second, spared in a moment of mercy, divulged the grim news – Lady Haifda and Lord Byie had fallen to treachery. Steeling himself for the path ahead, Arlendir pressed on towards the fortress. Yet as he neared, two archers hidden in the shadows loosed their arrows, striking him in the neck and back. Thus fell Lord Arlendir, in the very streets he sought to cleanse of evil. The guard told Lord Arlendir that his sister, Lady Haifda, and brother-in-law, Lord Byie Heyuyi, were already dead. Lord Arlendir cut the guard's head off and continued towards the Heyuyi fortress. However, he never made it out of the street as two archers on the rooftops struck him with two arrows, one in the neck, the other in the back. He died a few minutes later in the street.Relationships
