King Blesdorin Elyndoras, the ruler of Evening Star, is one of the few surviving members of the Elyndoras family who witnessed the horrors of the kin-slaying. Born in the year 35088 in the kingdom of Evening Star, Bihu was the son of Lord Byifu Heyuyi and Gigaga HeyuyiThe throne of Evening Star was inherited through absolute primogeniture, which meant that the eldest child, regardless of gender, would inherit the throne.
Early Life & The Kin-Slaying
Lord Byie was the eldest son and heir of King Fiyet, who ruled over Evening Star before him. When King Fiyet passed away, Lord Byie was set to ascend the throne. However, his younger brother, Lord Gdiya Elyndoras, challenged his claim to the throne, citing his own ambition and claiming that Lord Byie was unfit to rule. Lord Gdiya Heyuyi went on to instigate the kin-slaying, which resulted in the deaths of many members of the Elyndoras family, including Lord Byie and his wife Lady Haifda Hef Heyuyi. As a result of the kin-slaying, Princess Mirelleth, the daughter of Lord Byie and Lady Haifda Hef Elyndoras, became the rightful heir to the throne of Evening Star. Lord Gdiya Heyuyi's attempt to seize the throne died with him, along with Lord Hyugeb Elyndoras, Lord Byie's younger brother, in several isolated assassinations. The kin-slaying lasted for only 18 days, and no battles were fought. With the death of Lord Gdiya Elyndoras, the succession crisis was resolved. Princess Mirelleth was crowned as the Queen of Evening Star, and she ruled wisely and justly. She had one child, Bihu, who would go on to become one of the greatest rulers of Evening Star. Bihu grew up in the shadow of the kin-slaying, hearing tales of the tragedy and the sacrifices made by his parents and other family members. As he matured, he became increasingly determined to honor their memories by becoming a just and fair ruler himself. Bihu was trained in the art of war and governance from a young age, and he quickly distinguished himself as a skilled and capable leader. When Queen Mirelleth died in 72227, Bihu ascended to the throne of Evening Star. He began grooming his daughter, Princess Afuf Gegbi, to succeed him as the ruler of Evening Star, teaching her everything he knew about governance and leadership. Today, King Bihu Elyndoras is a revered figure in the history of Evening Star. His leadership and wisdom helped to shape the destiny of his kingdom, and his legacy lives on to this day. The kin-slaying may have been a tragic chapter in the history of the Heyuyi family, but it also served as a reminder of the importance of justice, compassion, and fairness in ruling a kingdom.
