Minutes from The Elven Council of Aristocrats

As the Council of Aristocrats convened in an emergency session, tension filled the room. The High-King's decree had shaken the very foundation of their society, and the future of their Kingdoms was at stake. Queen Byeyfi Bihe of Gueda Yaya, a respected member of the Council, spoke first. "This is an outrage! The High-King cannot simply change the laws of succession to suit his whims. What of our daughters? Our granddaughters? Are they to be denied their rightful place as heirs to the throne?"   Queen Fipe Gugeni of the Kingdom of Naniyu nodded in agreement. "This is not just a matter of tradition, but a matter of basic rights. We cannot allow the High-King to take away what is rightfully ours."   Queen Khe Ya of the Kingdom of il Mumu am chimed in. "We must act quickly to ensure the safety and security of our Kingdoms. We cannot wait for the High-King to change his mind or come to his senses. Our people are counting on us to protect their interests."   King Fiyet Heyuyi of Ngazomi asa (Evening Star), the only male member of the Council, spoke up as well. "I can understand the High-King's frustration with his daughter, but this is not the way to handle it. We need to find a solution that does not involve tearing our Kingdoms apart."   Queen Geyfeb Guda of Hyage, the youngest member of the Council, nodded in agreement. "Perhaps we can propose an alternative to the High-King. A compromise that will satisfy his concerns without sacrificing our own rights."   The Council discussed various proposals and alternatives, but the High-King refused to listen. His stubbornness and pride blinded him to the wisdom of his advisors, and he declared war on the Kingdoms that dared to defy him.   The Council knew that they had no choice but to stand their ground and defend their Kingdoms. It was a difficult decision, but they knew that their duty to their people came before their loyalty to a misguided High-King.   And so, the Council of Aristocrats severed the supremacy of High-King authority within their internal Kingdoms, and prepared for the war that was to come.
