The Dwarven Kingdom of Dorvathar
HISTORY
The Dwarven Kingdom of Dorvathar was founded in 42500 by High-Queen Klǎpwǐ Flinda Dinggǎ, who united the scattered clans of Valikar and established the Great Fortress of Dorvathar as the seat of her power. Under her rule, the kingdom prospered, with the dwarves becoming skilled metalworkers and merchants, and Dorvathar becoming the most powerful kingdom among the dwarves, capable of raising more than 50,000 troops. However, the kingdom faced its first major challenge in 50500, when the elves launched the First War of Elven Aggression, seeking to expand their territory and influence. The dwarves of Dorvathar, with their superior fighting skills and technology, were able to repel the elven invasion and maintain their independence. In 52999, High-Queen Klǎpwǐ Flinda Dinggǎ was put on trial for the murder of her husband, King Vindra Dinggǎ. Despite protestations of her innocence, she was found guilty and executed. Her daughter, High-Queen Muzovwigǎ Ngoti Flinda Dinggǎ, succeeded her on the throne. During Muzovwigǎ's reign, the kingdom entered a period of expansion and prosperity. She formed alliances with neighboring kingdoms, including the Men of Hal Haab and the Elves of various regions. In an event remembered as The Gifting of the Four Diadems of Dorvathar, she created four powerful magical artifacts using the life force of her mother and gifted them to King Hal Haab, Queen Gigaga Heyuyi, Hibig Guda, and the Stewart of the Capital City of Fem me ke Ice Heart, cementing their loyalty to her and Dorvathar. However, as Muzovwigǎ's power grew, so did her desire for revenge against those who had wronged her mother. She began to plot against the other monarchs, seeking to corrupt them or turn them against each other. Her trusted advisor, Byeyfi Bihe, silently assisted her in these endeavors. In 60303, Dorvathar was plunged into a devastating civil war as Muzovwigǎ's schemes were uncovered and the other monarchs joined forces against her. The conflict lasted for years, decimating the kingdom and leaving it vulnerable to outside threats. In the present day, the kingdom struggles to rebuild and reclaim its former glory, with the House of Flinda Dinggǎ still holding the throne and striving to maintain stability and unity among the dwarves, men, and elves of Dorvathar.
