High-Queen Gipiu Nefe believed that the Dwarves were growing too powerful behind their mountain ranges and stone walls. Dwarves had managed to master the growing of Elder Seed. Threatening the Elves ability to undertake trade in return for raw materials, High-Queen Gipiu Nefe thought that her only options was war to assert the Elves position.   The invasion was launched from Kekev Lin (Wars Camp the great wall structure of Ki Linsi Grama fi Dizi Gove, and the mountain ranges of Hagle Blorsa limited the Elves ability to invade Dwarven lands. However, the Elves did have access to Qi Fastafwe Pakha (Spine Pass), a narrow pass that passed through the mountain ranges of Hagle Blorsa. Mobilising 20,000 Elves, thinking that that would be sufficient numbers, High-Queen Gipiu Nefe personally led her army into the Dwarven lands.   For 100 years, the presence of the elves remained unnoticed due to their operation of building underground tunnels in the Ngova fi Dinta. The elves would establish the settlements of Dirth and the Castle of Veer, right under the noses of the dwarves. The elves would be discovered 110 years after their invasion, when the first battle would occur in the form of a siege of Dirth and the Castle of Veer involving 40,000 dwarves.   High-Queen Klǎpwǐ Flinda Dinggǎ was initially patient with the conflict, but as the issue dragged on approaching 12 years, the High-Queen became impatient. Sending conditions of peace, High-Queen Gipiu Nefe refused all terms that allowed the dwarves to continue mass agricultural cultivation.   Losing all patience, in 2599AM, High-Queen Klǎpwǐ Flinda Dinggǎ ordered the withdrawal of all 40,000 of her troops; then she mounted her dragon, Katatu aka, and flew over Dirth and Castle Veer. Releasing a wall of flame from her dragon, the fire enveloped the structures turning the stone walls into an oven. As the High-Queen turned to fly back to Kekta Bandu, she spotted the royal standard of High-Queen Gipiu Nefe flying atop the tower of Castle Veer. It was then that she realised that she had killed the Elven High-Queen and ended the war, but had begun a sequence of events that would lead to her downfall.
