Half-Elves

Description

The most recent Wellspring eruption in Arak caused a strange energy to shoot out from the caldera of the Wellspring east of Mythwell in the Great Divide. This energy, in the form of orbs, sought out and struck every living Human and Elf in Aellorah. As a result of this event, Humans and Elves are now able to reproduce, resulting in the birth of the Half-Elven race.

This has caused a great deal of political turmoil in Arak, and was the result of the creation of an inquisition which sought to hunt and put to death all Half-Elven children, believing them to be an abomination.
