Kingdom of Derunadel

The Kingdom of Derunadel was one of the three monarchies that ruled over Arak thousands of years ago, and consisted of the Elves of ancient Arak. It was established after the Elves were rejected by the Dwarves of the Drakantal Empire of northern Arak when they arrived into the world, and existed well into the Restoration period. The kingdom ruled over much of central Arak, including the entire Taungar Valley region, as well as the region that is now known as The Dreaming Wastes. They had originally controlled much of the Sudwin Valley region, but were driven out when Humans arrived from Myr and banded together with the Lynoxi of the desert, forming the Rojek Dynasty.

After the Drakantal Empire was destroyed by the Voidspawn in the mid Age of Creation period, the Kingdom of Derunadel assumed control of their territories, which gave them majority control of Arak, which would play a vital role in the Restoration period when the Kingdom of Derunadel began to form a democracy and began talks with the Rojek Dynasty to unite under this new regime. However, the Lynoxi did not want this new regime and fought back, leading to the Yzerid Unification War.
