Kroll

(a.k.a. The Reaper, The Father of Descension)

Kroll, also known as the "Reaper," is one of the most enigmatic and feared deities in the pantheon. He is the God of Death, the one who ushers souls from the mortal plane to the afterlife. While many associate him with destruction and pain, Kroll's role is not to bring about death but rather to facilitate the transition from life to death. He is a necessary and inevitable part of the cycle of existence, and his presence reminds mortals of the impermanence of all things.   Kroll is one of the oldest and most powerful gods in existence, having existed long before death itself. In the primordial days, he was simply known as the Void, an entity without form or purpose. However, when life emerged in the mortal plane, Kroll found his role as the master of death. Although he is often portrayed as a grim and dark figure, he is also a necessary force that brings balance and order to the world.   Kroll's realm is believed to be located on Kronus, one of the two moons of Aelluros. It is a place of endless hallways, each lined with alcoves containing a single candle. When a candle's flame goes out, the soul it is tethered to ceases to exist. The harbingers of Kroll, led by Tah, escort the souls to their intended destinations in the afterlife. The moon itself is also called Kroll's Eye, and it revolves on a 43-day cycle, serving as a constant reminder of the God's presence and influence.   Despite his fearsome reputation, Kroll is not without his worshippers. Many seek his favor in the hopes of achieving a swift and peaceful death or in the belief that death is merely the beginning of a new journey. Some even believe that he can grant a second chance at life to those deemed worthy. Nevertheless, his cults tend to be secretive and hidden from the public eye, as many view them with suspicion and fear.   Kroll's divine domains are death, ruin, destruction, pain, and the moon. He is a reminder of the fleeting nature of existence, and his presence is felt by all who walk the mortal plane.     image source: https://tt-vision.tumblr.com/post/173270267898
