Troll

Trolls are a proud race, fiercely independent and notoriously difficult to subjugate. They have a long history of conflict with other races, particularly humans and dwarves who have attempted to exploit the resources of their jungle homeland of Tu'mir. Despite their reputation as fearsome predators, trolls are actually a deeply spiritual people with a rich culture and a deep reverence for the natural world. Their society is based around the teachings of their shamans, who are responsible for interpreting the will of the spirits and guiding the tribe in matters both spiritual and practical.   One of the most remarkable aspects of troll culture is their mastery of magic. While not as sophisticated as the High Elves, their shamanistic magic is still a potent force, and they are known to possess some of the most powerful enchantments and curses in all of Aelluros. This makes them a force to be reckoned with, even for armies that vastly outnumber them.   Despite their formidable reputation, trolls are not without their weaknesses. Their close-knit tribal structure often means that they struggle to cooperate with other races, and they are known to be fiercely territorial. In addition, they have a deep mistrust of outsiders, and are often quick to react with violence when they feel their territory or way of life is threatened.   Despite these challenges, trolls remain one of the most fascinating and enigmatic races in Aelluros. Their unique culture, rich history, and fierce independence make them a force to be reckoned with, both on the battlefield and in matters of politics and diplomacy. As other races continue to encroach on their territory, the future of the trolls remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: they will not go down without a fight.   The Miju'pom is a revered figure among the Trolls, not only as the leader of the tribe but also as their spiritual guide. She is responsible for performing the tribe's religious ceremonies and rituals, communicating with the spirits of the jungle and asking for their blessings or guidance. In many tribes, the Miju'pom is also responsible for overseeing the education and training of young Trolls, teaching them the skills they will need to survive in the jungle and preparing them for their role in the tribe.   Despite their fierce reputation, Trolls are not a warlike race. They prefer to avoid conflict whenever possible, instead focusing on their hunting and gathering activities. However, if threatened, they are more than capable of defending themselves and their tribe. Trolls are known for their ferocity in battle, and their ability to move stealthily through the dense jungle makes them formidable opponents.   Trolls have a deep respect for nature, and they believe that all living things are connected in some way. They view themselves as caretakers of the jungle, and they take great care not to overhunt or destroy the environment in which they live. They have developed a complex system of rituals and taboos that help them live in harmony with the jungle, and they believe that breaking these rules will anger the spirits and bring bad luck to the tribe.   While the Trolls are generally isolated from the other races of Aelluros, they do have a reputation as skilled traders and craftsmen. They often trade with neighboring tribes or with the occasional adventurer who ventures into their territory. Trolls are skilled woodworkers, and they are known for their intricately carved weapons and tools. They also have a deep understanding of the medicinal properties of the plants in their jungle home, and they are sought after for their healing potions and salves.   Overall, Trolls are a fiercely independent and self-sufficient race. While they may not have the grand cities or empires of some of the other races of Aelluros, they have a deep connection to their land and their traditions, which they will defend with all their might.           art source: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1PBqo
