The Engagement
The attack began at dawn, with the smoke army holding the Medvidevs to the treeline of the woods. For hours they fought and the frontlines didn't move much. Archers were useless, the trees providing both cover and obsticals for each side. Colden One Hand brought his dragon, Decade, into the battle and began setting the trees ablaze near the Medvidev back line. Hundreds of soldiers were lost with each swoop and assault of the masive creature. The Smoke army slowly started to push into the treeline as the Medvidev's were reacting to the dragon. It only ended when a Medvidev maji named Hysdor Lameth pushed his magics and warged into the dragon. He took control of Decade and forced the beast to shake off it's rider, sending Corden to his death. He then guided Decade to start burning the Smoke armies, burning their ranks from behind and swiftly ending the battle.
