Chira, the Crystal Queen
Living inside the former magma chamber of the long dead volcano that once stood where now the Evenfar Fortress exists, Chira is surrounded by crystals and ore veins growing on the walls and ceiling, reflecting any source of light a seemingly endless amount of times. The former central vent allows sunlight to faintly find its way into her chamber and enables her to leave her fortress if she ever wants to.
She is closely connected to the spiritual world. Many of her crystals are storing raw life force from and for void magic, a lot of it was gifted to her by dwarves long gone to keep her alive and well. Chira's time would've past centuries ago, if not for the controlled void keeping her alive. The people of Hlífjall are trading a small portion of their lives for her ability to contact any spirit and find them again that might have else been lost to them or out of their reach.
