Evenfar Fortress

Huge crystals sticking out of the mountains like spires, their large factettes breaking the sunlight into blue and purple reflections onto the landscape. While some of them appear nearly translucent, others are more solid in color and inside them lies a hidden fortress, stretching all the way from the top of the crystalline towers down into the deep and cold rock. Its many layer not only offer housing to its inhabitants, but also a place to work and trade.
The area was once a massive volcanic mountain that nearly fully vanished after a huge eruption, leaving only the crystal spires which are said to have formed inside old vents. The prior magma chamber is now inhabited by Chira, the Crystal Queen, with its walls coated with various metals and gemstones.
The sides of the mountain is loaded with Obsidian rock, today mined by golems and shipped to the Molten Forge for further processing.
